The milk quality analyzer Laktan is a complicated device which requires a careful treatment and maintenance in the process of operation and transportation. To provide normal operation of the device and receive accurate and precise measurement results it is required to carry out daily cleaning of the analyzer’s measuring cell from the residuals of fat, protein and milk stone which accumulate and distort the measurements results that can subsequently lead to the breakage of the instrument. Cleaning of the measuring cell with domestic detergents (dishwashing detergents or laundry detergents) is not effective due to bleach powdering, dye stuffs, organic compounds and aromatizers frequently contained in domestic detergents which can accumulate in the measuring cell and add to additional contamination of the device. This is why we devised a special technique of cleaning of the measuring cell and removal of fat, protein and milk stone which ensures its cleanness and sterility and guarantees reliable and no-failure operation of the device. We recommend using Reagent N1 and Reagent N 2 for daily cleanings of the analyzer. These chemicals are non-toxic and have no harmful effect. Water solutions of these detergents can be prepared once a month and used during the whole month. NOTICE: In case of failure or breakage of the analyzer caused by contamination of the measuring channel or improper cleaning of the device the manufacturer reserves the right to withhold the manufacturer's warranty. INSTRUCTION How to use reagent N1 and reagent N2 to remove the remains of protein and milk stone 1. Pour tap water, preliminary heated up to 40°C, in the measuring cup and clean the device. 2. Heat tap water to 50°C and dissolve reagent N1 (1g per 100 ml of water or 5g per 500 ml of water) and clean the device changing the cleaning solution three times. The cleaning solution can be prepared once a month and used daily during the whole month. 3. Change the cleaning solution to clean tap water and fulfill the cleaning once again. Clean the device with the tap water until the water becomes clean. Once a week use reagent N 2 to clean the analyzer more thoroughly: 1. Heat tap water to 50°C and dissolve reagent N2 (0,5g for 100 ml of water). It can be prepared once a month and used during the whole month). 2. After cleaning the analyzer with reagents N1 and water, clean it with reagent N2, changing the cleaning solution 3 times. 3. Clean the device with clean tap water until the water becomes clean. One set of cleaning reagents (Cleaning reagents N1 and N2, 400g) is sufficient for 12 months (1 year) of everyday cleanings! |
