- The measurement time is only 1-2 second per sample;
- The in-built reference standard has been added that ensures high accuracy and stability of measurements (the analyzer carries out measurement of the reference standard before each measurement of milk);
- The wavelengths in the near-infrared area at which measurement takes place have been specified (that allowed achieving the maximum correlation with the measured milk quality parameters);
- The list of the milk quality parameters has been expanded, except for standard ones such as Fat, Protein, SNF, Density, Added water new milk quality parameters have been introduced, namely: Freezing point, Lactose, Mineral salts, Total protein, Calorie content;
- Dependence of the measurement results on the sample temperature (due to the temperature independence of the optical module) has been removed;
- The option for storing of the last 1000 measurement results (milk parameters values, date and time of measurements) in the analyzer’s memory/ measurement stack;
- The option for the output of the measurement results to an external printer (thermal tape printing that does not require ink);
- Improved characteristics of the in-built battery (8 hours of battery life, the percentage of battery charge is displayed on the display);
- The software for Windows, which allows obtaining the stack of the last 1000 measurements, configuring/ adjusting the parameters, making calibration and correction of the analyzer’s readings;
- The option for correction of the analyzer’s readings from the analyzer’s keypad (without connecting to PC) after entering a special service password;
- The option for 4 independent calibration channels has been added (for example: fresh cow milk, pasteurized milk, fresh buffalo milk, mix milk).
The new version of Laktan 900 superfast IR milk analyzer is a compact, autonomous, accurate and easy to operate solution.
The analyzer is supplied with a set of standardized optical cuvettes in the required quantity. The analyzer does not require cleaning after measurement. Simply place the next cuvette with a new sample of milk in the analyzer’s milk sampler/ measuring zone.
After a working shift al used cuvettes are cleaned. In this way an operator/ lab assistant does not have to spend time on any additional manipulations during the milk analysis that allows saving time for the analysis.
Sibagropribor is planning to hold a presentation of the new version of the Superfast IR analyzer Laktan 900 for a number of potential customers from India.
