KELTRUN Scrubber Module (device for removing and neutralizing vapors)

At the stage of ignition/ wet combustion a large volume of poisonous vapors of dioxide and trioxide sulfur are released. To ensure safe operation the digestor should be used in conjunction with a device that allows removing of aggressive vapors formed in the process of mineralization of samples.

Intended for extraction and neutralization of decomposition products during the ignition/ wet combustion. High-efficiency vacuum pump sucks out gases from the mineralizer, passes them through the solution of alkali that results in neutralization and cleaning of outgoing gases.

The set of equipment includes:

• Scrubber;

• Containers for absorbing liquids;

• Circulating water pump;

• Hoses.

• Minimum consumption of alkali and water (fixed volume - 2 capacities of 5 liters and 1 liter);

NB! KELTRUN digestor is supplied in the set with the scrubber and water-jet pump for different types of connection:

Connection with the scrubber:

• Use of fixed volume of water and alkali for vapour neutralization (which allows to save the consumables).

Connection with the water-jet pump:

• When running tap water is required during the whole cycle of wet combustion/ burning.

Attention! Irrespective of selected connection type for safety reasons we recommend to use digestor in a fume chamber.
