Analysis of nitrogen protein according to Kieldahl method is the most widely-spread method, but unfortunately it has some significant disadvantages which are low speed, a big quantity of waste in the process of analysis, bulky equipment, use of corrosive reagents.
Use of our semi-automatic complex for analysis of nitrogen protein based on Kieldahl method allows to reduce the disadvantages of the given method of analysis of nitrogen protein according to Kieldahl method.
We are now introducing the set of equipment for conducting the complete cycle in accordance with Kieldahl method which allows:
- To increase the speed of analysis (due to high speed of distillation and ignition, simultaneous processing of several samples)
- To provide safety of personnel (high quality of laboratory glassware, efficient air-ejection system for acid vapour absorption, additional protection of personnel in emergency cases)
- To reduce possible losses in the process of analysis
- To improve results reproducibility/ repeatability.
Complex for analysis of nitrogen/protein allows to determine nitrogen/ protein content in accordance with Kieldahl method in foodstuffs, beverages, soil, water, chemical substances, atmospheric precipitation.
The given analysis complies with the State Standard 23327-98 and allows to determine content in the range from 0,02 - to 99%
Advantages:
- Lower price/ cost as compared to the imported analogues;
- Regular information and technical support of the manufacturer during the whole period of operation.
Method of protein analysis includes the following stages:
1. Sample collection and preparation
2. Wet combustion / ignition (for this procedure Digester is used)
3. Distillation (for this procedure Distiller/ Distillation unit is used)
4. Titration (Titration unit is used)
