Easy operation

1. Set/ select the drying mode in the menu (standard, express, soft - in accordance with the recommendations for your product);

2. Set/ select the drying stop mode in the menu (automatic, timer, manual - in accordance with the recommendations for your product);

3. Set the drying temperature (in accordance with the recommendations for your product);

4. Place the empty sample cup on the weighing mechanism;

5. Press the "TAP->0<-" button and tare the built-in scale;

6. Fill the cup/ bowl with the sample to be tested, smooth it out in the cup, and place it on the weighing mechanism;

7. Close the lid and press the "Start" button. The sample drying process will begin, and the indicator will display the current measurement time, the current moisture content in %, the temperature in the drying chamber, the weight value, and the dry weight value. For displaying the graph of drying progress press the "Graph" button.

8. When drying is complete, the analyzer will give a sound signal, turn off the heating, and display the measurement results: moisture content (in %), total dry weight (in grams), dry weight (in %), and total analysis time.

Selecting a Drying Mode

Standard: This mode is suitable for measuring moisture in most substances;

Express: The heating temperature will reach the set temperature more quickly. Fast mode can be used to increase efficiency and reduce analysis time, but it can also cause thermal decomposition of the sample (formation of a crust on top which prevents moisture from escaping from the lower layers of the sample);

Soft: The temperature will slowly reach the set temperature. This mode is used to protect the sample from thermal decomposition.

Selecting a Set Temperature

Different target temperatures can be set depending on the selected product.

Temperature setting range: 40°C ~ 160°C.

Temperature setting pace: 1°C

Selecting drying completion mode

Auto: The system automatically determines the stop time when a constant weight is reached (this function does not use the timer setting);

Timer: Set the test time, and the moisture analysis will stop at the set time. The drying time must also be set;

Manual: The moisture analyzer will not stop automatically until manually stopped.

Measurement time

Depends on the sample moisture content, the sample weight, and the product's moisture release properties (on average the measurement time is 5 - 10 minutes).

Substances for analysis

The following substances should not be used for testing: flammable, explosive, or solvent-containing substances.

Testing toxic or corrosive substances should be performed in a well-ventilated area (or fume hood). Substances that release toxic corrosive gases when heated should be tested in as short a time as possible.

Displaying a drying progress graph

During the measurement process, you can switch to the drying progress graph display, allowing you to monitor the entire drying process in real time. As the drying process approaches completion the moisture graph will move to the "shelf."

Measurement results and reports

The analyzer stores the results of the last 20 measurements in its memory which can be received by users at any time.

• Selected drying mode (standard/express/soft);

• Selected drying completion mode (auto/timer/manual);

• Drying temperature;

• Drying time;

• Initial weight, g;

• Dry weight, g;

• Moisture content, %.
